Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small file a website leaves in your browser. Here is what the New Generation Leaders Summit website leaves, and why.
Cookies we set ourselves
One cookie holds your session so the site can tell one visitor from another across a few pages, which is what keeps the application form working while you fill it in. Another holds a security token that stops someone else submitting a form in your name. Neither identifies you personally, and both disappear when you close the browser or shortly after.
Cookies set by other people
Depending on how this site is configured, some of these may be running:
- Stripe sets cookies on its own payment page to prevent fraud.
- Google Analytics counts visits and works out which pages are read. Its cookies begin
_ga. - Google Tag Manager loads the tags above. It sets nothing on its own.
- Meta pixel measures whether Facebook and Instagram advertising brings applicants.
- Microsoft Clarity records anonymous session replays showing where visitors get stuck.
- Google reCAPTCHA runs on our forms to tell people from bots.
Turning them off
Every browser can block or delete cookies, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking ours will stop the application and contact forms working, because both rely on the security token. Blocking the third-party ones changes nothing about what you can read here.
